Day 4 dawned, the swell dropped and everyone was in the water reasonably early. The westerly was biting hard and whipping up a bit of chop out wide.
We headed out to complete some filming ourselves and found snapper in freezing conditions north of Evans. Apparently when we left, it glasses off. Typical.
Elsewhere other anglers made hay with the conditions landing some solid fish. Brad Mayes landed a solid AJ/Sambo at 834mm. The largest mulloway also got knocked off with 1290mm fish to Darren Constable. A long pearl perch of 605mm went to Ethan Donnelly.
A snapper approaching the magic 1 buck mark coming in at 973mm was caught we don’t know where by Chad Banks, while a croc sized flathead went to Bruce Jobson.
