Evans Head Classic Day 7 Friday
Friday was a cracker day. The sun was out and we reached the final day of competition. There were some notable captures too proving that it is important to put in till the very end.
Inshore fishing was hot with some solid bream coming in a ending up on the overall leaderboard. Aiden Treddinick’s 465mm fish was a cracker and closely followed by mate Brad Gosling’s 449mm fish. The whiting went to Corey Saxby with a 382mm fish. Flathead once again saw Natalee Reynolds with another solid fish of 920mm. Shane Griffiths took out another blackfish win with a 471mm fish
Offshore Brad Mayes once again did the miles to get the smiles and won AJ/Sambo with a bean sized fish of 643mm. he also took out kingfish with a 1011mm fish. Mulloway was won by Shenoah McKenna while Pearl Perch went to Rod Simmons.
Of the shore the tailor was again close with Geoffrey Hoss McGrath winning with a 638mm fish. Dart went to Richard Bennett.
